• designing of (construction of trunk and field oil, gas and product pipelines and their related facilities as well as water crossings, repair and rehabilitation of faulty sections, development of oil fields, construction of gas filling and automobile gas re-fueling stations, gas supply to the industrial enterprises and living areas etc.);
• research and development (development and co-ordination with supervision authorities of RF of the plans on emergency oil spillage prevention and elimination, development of technical normative and regulation documents in the field of designing, construction and operation of pipeline transport facilities, audit and monitoring trunk pipelines technical condition);
• development and introduction of information systems (intended to analyze the technical condition of trunk pipelines and to collect, store and process the information about these facilities).
